<P><FONT SIZE=2>I had misconfigured my kernel - when I took away initrd support it booted cleanly from the NFS volume. As for the DC, it's a great little thing. In about 18 months I wrote two device drivers (one for the sound card and one for a force-feedback device) and a filesystem - a great way to learn about kernel internals and pose as an uber geek :-></FONT></P>
