Aha - Blackberry - thats explains a lot !<BR>

There must be some setting on it that affects how messages are sent.<BR>
<BR>
<BR>
My boss has one of these and most emails come through as plain text, but some<BR>
arrive totally encoded in base64.<BR>
<BR>
Maybe the thing detects a non-7bitascii character in the message and then<BR>
automatically encodes the whole thing ???<BR>
