Position Available: Technology Manager<br><br>Type: Permanent<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>    - Manage IT budget and purchasing strategies.<br>    - Provide IT support to the students and staff.<br>    - Manage user account administration. e.g. logins, email.<br>

    - Manage backup and restore policy.<br>    - Monitor and maintain network security e.g. firewall, antivirus, password policy.<br>    - Plan and develop internal IT infrastructure.<br>    - Assist with client software and hardware support.<br>

<br>Required Skills:<br>    - Previous system administration experience is essential.<br>    - Good experience of Windows Server 2003/XP and Red Hat based Linux distributions.<br>    - Experience of Windows/Linux domain administration and networking including Active Directory, Samba3/LDAP, DHCP, DNS, LAMP administration.<br>

    - Must be competent in building and upgrading workstations and servers.<br><br>Desired Skills:<br>    - Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.<br>    - Familiarity with scripting languages.<br>    - VFX software knowledge e.g. Maya, RenderMan, Nuke and FlexLM software licensing.<br>

    - Nagios network monitoring.<br>    - IPCop Firewall or similar.<br><br>Applicants will need to demonstrate:<br>    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<br>    - Ability to work effectively under pressure.<br>
