<p>Not sure whether I should be top-posting this or not. Anyway, like
John Winters I've found Lenovo laptops very useful for running
Linux over the last few years. Mostly Thinkpads.</p>

wiped the drive and stuck Debian 12 on it.<br>

entroware twice and have been reasonably pleased. The webcam
broke on one and i couldn't be bothered with return to
Liverpool warranty.<br>
Depends if you are comfortable within instlling yourself </p>

I too have inclined to Lenovo laptops for many years and

excellent for Linux. Tier 1 are a good source for second
hand ones.<br>
