Agreed I should be able to get something very useable for much less than £2K but I wanted to cast my net wide. <BR>

I’ve got limited time and even more limited intellectual capacity (as you lot may find out once I get a Linux machine) so I’m hoping to dodge as many problems as I can. But Dell go on the list. They may even have a new one that is suitable for Linux I must have a look, and likewise see if HP sell their recently advertised Linux one in the UK<BR>
