I'm not planning on going, but they have some interesting speakers

http://lugradio.org/live/2005/

This coming Saturday in Wolverhampton.

I usually listen to their shows when I find time. If you can get past
the childish swearing there is some good content, especially the interviews.

If you want something else to listen to there is a talk by Guido van
Rossum (Python creator) at

http://www.itconversations.com/shows/detail545.html

My personal Linux news is that my success with my ALSA sound at the last
meeting was only partial. I have to run alsaconf every session to get it
working. I'm also having problems getting my scanner to work (Epson
Perfection 610 USB). I'm contemplating Ubuntu again as I keep hearing
good things about it.

Is anyone else volunteering to do a talk some time?
