<P>I was due to attend the meeting on Wednesday and was looking forward to it... However on my way to it on the A1 at about 7:20 I smashed into the back of someone's car...</P>
<P>Luckily myself, and the driver of the other car were fine... but thats my apology as to why I did not show up!!</P>
<P>I agree with the IRC issue, that people can not leave their PC's on all day..</P>
<P>I was looking to go to the LUG for two main reasons, firstly to find how to completely abandon Windows, so hardware compatibility, replacement apps etc and general info such as how the OS works in real life scenario's.... The other main reason is the what I call leading edge open source apps, like Samba, Asterisk (Which I know I missed) and others like that...</P>
