Hiya

So, some of you may know that I've been hankering after building a new machine
soon. Christmas, broken cars and leaky washing machines have been hampering
my money saving efforts however I was well aware that according to my rough
calculations, a long standing loan would be paid off in December.

So, yesterday I checked my bank balance and saw to my horror that the regular
loan payment had gone out of my account that day. Oh no, I must have
miscalculated the loan period, oh wooah is me! Like a fool I'd already
allocated portions of the amount here there and everywhere and then once the
Xmas financial recovery period had passed I could set my sights on all that
lovely silicon, plastic and metal. Now all my hopes are dashed and I'm skint
into the bargain. Bugger!

Anyway, today, I get a letter from the credit union from whom I'd obtained the
long standing loan. It pointed out their new improved rates and enquired as
to whether I needed another loan from them since my previous one had been
paid off in November. Did I realise that my standing order had made two
payments to them since the completion of the loan and my account now had a
healthy credit balance. Fan-tast-tic!

Things like this don't usually happen to me. Woo Hooo!

So, so long as I can keep it quiet from the missus, bring it on Mr Hardware
Salesman d00d! I think I'll have shiny blue one :)
