[Hudlug] lug meeting

I would be happy to help test ideas if it were to help the Blind Linux user.
I suppose it would be as close as being able to program something myself
which unfortunately I don't have the knowledge to do.

Perhaps I am approaching this from the wrong end ...

Provided that all that we do and say is directed from Michael's
benefit, I see this as an opportunity to develop both software and
other measures in the assistive field. I would hope, Michael, that
you value the time spent at our meetings and feel that you are not
left out. I am wondering out loud whether you would be happy in role
of chief beta tester for whatever ideas we can, as a group, come up
with. See http://www.deafblind.com/blind.html ,
http://www.whitestick.co.uk/ ,
http://www.presentationhelper.co.uk/call_centre/blind-call-centres.htm
.

Personally, I can think of no better concrete form that the
'self-help' element in a LUG can take than either deploying, improving
or developing assistive technology for its members.

In short, I was thinking about providing (or even creating) resources
rather than tapping them.

Michael, would you be interested in making a list (preferably in
priority order, but that is not essential at the moment) of problems
you have with gnopernicus (or other technologies) and/or technologies
that are missing at at the moment: Things that you just cannot do at
all, and would like to.

Ben
