I know this is a bit last minute - but if anybody fancies a jaunt over the Pennines, there is an end of year party happening at MadLab in Manchester on Tuesday evening (18 Dec - from 7pm).

Also - for those who are interested - there is an "Engels Walk" around the Northern Quarter - starting at 6.30pm from MadLab, and ending at 8.30pm back at the party.
