it's as easy as sudo dpkg -i plex.deb and a bit of firewall/ port
forwarding.

you will need to sign up for an account on the plex site as well to get the
most out of it. This is free although I signed up for the lifetime
membership option to get some extra goodies and because I use it so much I
thought it was worth doing.
