It seems like a fudge to me. It would be way better if they did a native port. Plus at the end of the day Picassa'a pretty good but there are a hundred and one photo apps on linux, F-spot, eye of the gnome etc.<br>Now a native port of google earth, that's something to get excited about

I heard this was gonna happen a couple months ago on the wine-devel
list, they hired a couple of wines developers to fix some
wine->picassa issues, they're also going to make google earth work
perfectly through wine after SoC is finished with. Its great that they
are supporting linux but they could do complete native ports rather
than wine ports of the apps. I would much rather see a GTK2 version of
picassa than wrapped win32 CAPI.<br>

Anyone got any ideas why they may be restricting it to US only?<br>
