Hey there Darren is it still broke? I had Ubuntu running on a seperate hard disk from windows and one day all i had was the GRUB message and it wouldnt allow me to load windows or linux it turned out that the IDE cable had some how came loose from the Second HD (pesky little MS nanobots), just thought id put that out there as a possibility.

After it had all gone through, it said that a reboot was needed, but on rebooting, my system seemed to have frozen and the last bit of text on the screen was "GRUB", the hard disc access light was on, not flickering, but on constantly.

I have 3 physical hard drives the first two have windows partitions and the third is only for linux. I have had to reinstall windows, since trying to reinstall fedora, had no effect on remedying the system freeze. <br>
<br>
Do any of you know how, in the future (when I reinstall linux again) to correct the problem should it occur again?<br><br>Darren <br>
