I have been Playing with the old laptop that Nathan kindly donated to<br>
me, and, while I have made some progress in understanding, I have two<br>
problems which I cannot seem to find the answer to on Web Sites.<br>
Given that the Laptop will boot from Hard disc or floppy and does not<br>
have the option of Cd boot up or USB connections is it possible :<br>
1) to divert the boot process to a Cd at GRUB stage or is it already<br>
committed to load from hard drive?<br>
2)Can I boot from the current OS (DSL) , mount CDrom do an install<br>
from a live disc or iso image of the required system?<br>
