Hi, I just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to Rene for spending 4 hours with me on Saturday installing Ubuntu using Wubi on my laptop.<div>I&#39;m now the proud owner of a Ubuntu laptop and last night I was working and even forgot I was not working in Windows.</div>
<div><br></div><div>My computing experience seems safer now and I have better visibility of what data is going in and out of my computer.</div><div>With Windows I felt owned by Microsoft and the anti-virus computer companies. Now i feel more free, which I know is weird.</div>
<div><br></div><div><div>My next step is to learn how to write commands to manage my wordpress blogs. </div></div><div>I am dumping all the error prone windows apps and learning to write Bash scripts to replace the majority of functions.</div>
