Lenovo Edge, the 15" triple core AMD one is £330 down from £775 using the coupon code EDGE5ALE11 - I've got one and everything on BackTrack Linux (based on Ubuntu) works out of the box, as you'd expect with a Lenovo ;)<br>
</blockquote><div><br></div><div>I would second trying a Lenovo. I got an IBM ThinkPad X60 off Ebay for £140 ish and it had a 3G module. I added a bit more Ram and I have a lovely little Ubuntu laptop. I was lucky with my Ebay purchase but YMMV.</div>
