</div><div>neat, I think that&#39;s the answer,</div><div><br></div><div>libnss_updatedb / pamccreds </div><div><br></div><div>Caches the password and nss information.</div><div><br></div><div>You don&#39;t need to use LDAP or Kerberos (although you can) so I can just plug in to the system I use currently (which uses postgres rather than LDAP) and its simple to the point.......</div>
