This happened to some of my recordings when they started to split films into two parts separated by the news or whatever, specifically the commercial channels. I started to use the "record at any time on this channel" setting in mythtv, and allowed it to handle duplication. This is a slightly ugly workaround, the programme will still appear as 2 distinct recordings, but at least they are there.<br>

Oh yes, I have been using my Myth box for 3 years now and wouldn't swap it for a TiVo. Just the fact that I can log in and record something from anywhere in the world, or have it advert skip CSI: Miami in milliseconds each time is worth it.<br>
