Sounds interesting. I'm well on the way with the home
automation
project. For example now have temp sensors around the house
and outside,
although i theme of what is on this thread I have door
sensors in place
which have proved very handy. And the door bell(s) now text
so I know
when someone is at the front door, what I want next is for
the PIR to
trigger and to add a cam so that door bell/PIR will take a
snap and send
to phone. Quite east by the looks of things.

What would also be cool is an intercom where we can see who
is at the
door in/out of the house and talk to them...? Maybe...
What have you ordered? 6 months is a long time. Generally I
would call
that a preorder.... the sort of thing you might get on a
raspberry pi 12
months ago or the next apple mini thingy.
