Nooo - I get public liability insurance as a potter, for
demonstrations and selling events and having people come to the
pottery with a-n (used to be Artists Network) and that comes to
something like £36 per annually.

However, I was wondering about this new 'policy'. So essentially an
organisation which is a of county-funded resource for residents now
insists that any group of people hiring space must be sufficiently
formally constituted to have public liability insurance? That seems
plain wrong.
I thought I would mention a discussion I instigated with my
mother about public liability insurance.

The number that flew off the top of her head before she heard
anything more I had to say was £500. For perspective, this is
based on her running a forest school in a woodland in
Dartford, which includes woodland rangers dealing with
gardening equipment, etc.

Thanks for those of you who came along. Just a quick
summary of the outcome of some things we said:

I will look at public liability insurance and if
its not bad then I will arrange.

We may stay with the library as the location is
not bad, and today we found a new local hotspot that
gave us unrestricted internet access. So long as it
does not go away then that helps with that issue.

Also we will setup a Meetup.com thing, we use it
at work and we agreed that it seems to be where
people are going to find local events now, it
certainly has become busier over the past year so
this could make arranging things for those outside
the group easier.

Last Saturday of the month was it? If so then I will
