Hi all,

I'm trying to roll a single cd mandrake distro - and am struggling with
undocumented scripts... any help appreciated!

basically, the steps are simple - just do the same as when you want to make
isos off the cooker tree

- sort out the RPMS you want, and their dependencies
- put them in the Mandrake/RPMS directory of the 1st mandrake cd you've copied
to your harddrive
- edit the config file cd/misc/doc/9.1.conf
- use the scripts MakeCD or mkcd off the cd (in cd/misc/ )
- deal with any errors and repeat until perfect
- burn the resulting iso to cd and try it out

my main prob is not understanding what the 9.1.conf file does. This page
http://members.shaw.ca/mandrake/drakx/9.0/HTML/section8.html is the only
documentation i've found, along with one i found buried away in the mkcd.rpm
(which didn't install to /usr/share/doc/mkcd which it should have done - i
extracted it using mc - can email it to anyone who wants a look).

so, does anyone have any gendist, MakeCD or mkcd experience - prob with
mandrake cooker? if so any tips very welcome!

thanks

max
