The first Monday (unless a bank holiday forces a change) are no good for
me. That's when my local astronomical society meets and I'm Chairman!

I agree with Andy (ref his recent message) that it wouldn't be ideal to
try to fit in a demo before the pub meet. When enthusiasts get together,
such things invariably go on a bit.

I suggest that we stick with the monthly pub meeting for informal banter
and arrange separate meetings as, when and where someone has something
to demonstrate
