[Lancaster] Lancaster Meeting -- was: [Fwd: RE: [Preston] meeting]

Richard,

Although I live just outside Kendal, I used to travel down to Lancaster
for the occasional LUG meeting. If meetings were to be restarted on
Wednesday evenings, I would be interested.

My own interests presently include photography/image processing with a
bias towards astrophotography. Image capture is via a digital SLR camera
and a long exposure/amp-off modified webcam. The webcam is controlled
using wxAstroCapture and the resulting AVI files are processed using
RegiStax running under 'wine', with final tweeking done using Gimp.

My operating system of preference is SUSE, but recently I've been using
Ubuntu as well.

I would be interested to know if we can again drum up enough support for
LUG meetings.
