[Lancaster] Myth TV

I have been using it for about 18 months now I guess.

I have 2 digital tuner cards in it and have it set to record max of 4 channels at once. It can record several channels on one tuner
card as long as the transmissions are on the same multiplex. This also depends on how beefy your mythtv box is.
It is *very* sophisticated and will do a lot of clever things, as you would expect from an open source PVR.

We have a iMac in the kitchen and this operates as a ‘frontend’ system and pulls the TV and recordings from the master backend system.

Best thing is to download the Mythbuntu install CD and install on a spare box.

Mike
