Yes, I have it, ta, that's where I'll start when I get onto that layer. For
now, what I'm enjoying is the way I can just write php and make it work, and
leave all that for a different time/mindset.

An even better idea, yes. I'd be interested in that. (I could, at some
point, talk about the database-of-traditional-tunes website I'm using the
Drupal for, but that might be a bit nerdy for the faint of heart, and
anyway, not until it's fit to be seen).


I don't see the 'but it's not linux' as much of a drawback. For Linux
people, it's (I'm suggesting, anyway) potentially interesting, and if other
people are doing the same on other platforms, they might come too and be
impressed to discover they could do it in Linux too ...




While I've mentioned it, Andy - do you have the hang of Drupal's system of
nodes ? I've not used it, or looked at it; I'm just acquiring data from
outside and having the php display it, but I suspect there might be
advantages if I reworked it to put that code inside their node callbacks (or
integrate it otherwise) - is that something you can comment on ?
