A couple of years ago I was on BBC Radio Lincs (for Hull LUG), when they had a 1/2 hour tech/geek spot on a Monday teatime.

TBH when publicising Hull LUG, the more success we have, the bigger the headache for organising stuff. I would urge anyone who has ideas to actually follow them through, and not just rely on Becky to do everything you suggest. I'm sure that I'm not speaking (typing) out of turn in suggesting that she would not turn down any offer of help...But don't look at me, I've got enough to do with Hull LUG :)
devil's advocate. I can assure you that it is safe to ignore almost
everything that I say :)

Sounds brilliant and I think there is definitely room for this. I
would be happy to listen to anyone that wants to give a
talk/presentation. As you mentioned, if the talks are 30 - 60 minutes
in length, then that would provide plenty of time after for
dissection, chitchat and socialising :)

Have you given much thought as to how this should be organised?

Cheers,
