Hi everyone,<div><br></div><div>I'm hoping to get along to a meeting at some point and would be even more interested if there is some talks/lectures sort of thing, think i have an obsession with learning. I have 2 young children and so getting out the house is difficult and commuting lives me little time and money for petrol.</div>
<div><br></div><div>wud love to come and say hi, i'll gladly come alone and introduce myself, not really the shy type - though my Linux knowledge is pretty poor. I have used Crunchbang though and glad to tell you how and why i used it!!!!</div>

Some of our LUG members travel a fair distance to get to the meeting and like to have something to eat. If we do start presenting talks, can I suggest that they run from 8:15 - 9:00pm? This will give people a chance to get their catching up and eating out of the way so that talks/presentations can be delivered uninterrupted without cutlery being rattled. Plus, I get a very grumpy bear if I don't eat after a day at work :(</div>
<div><br></div><div>At this point, I would suggest keeping things simple; if anyone would like to suggest giving a talk, just send a message to the mailing list, outlining the topic and giving an indication as to when they would like to present (remember, we generally meet every third Wednesday of the month.)</div>
