[Lincs] linux and NTL Broadband (newbie)

Hi All

I am currently running an imac (rev b) on MacOs 8.6 but thinking of changing
to Linux (Yellow Dog?).  Just trying to get enough courage to bite the
bullet :)

I have had exposure to UNIX at uni, which is what made me think about
chaning to Linux but being a novice I would just like some advice from
anyone.

But especially anyone who has NTL Broadband and is using Linux; ie. whats
involved in setting it up.
