Definite wants:

Live Distro based on Knoppix/Ubuntu Debian (Knoppix already has scripts
which will allow you to do a HDD install of the liveCD)

GNOME Desktop Environment (this could be a point of contention, but at I
think GNOME provides a cleaner interface than KDE)

LLUG Theme! :-)

Application Set should be balanced but keep number of similar
applications to a minimum, eg. Either Mozilla Thunderbird or Evolution
as an email client but not both. If we are designing a distro as a tool
to introduce Linux to newbies a clear tight set of applications will
help the transition to the new OS (that doesn't mean we don't have to
add you own favourite apps when you've installed it on you own PC.

Definite DON'T Wants:

I'll get back to you on that :-)

Yes Please:

See above.

Grahame

Well,

I've been a busy bee :)

I now have a working remaster development environment based on knoppix
3.9

I'll put a screenshot up on my website in a mo...

What we need now is a list of:

1. Definite wants
2. Definite DON'T wants
3. yes please, if there's room!

4. Some pretty graphics
         A desktop background image
         KDE Specific decorations
         Bootloader image
         Icons (maybe)
         Sounds (maybe)

volunteers et al please?!?!?!

regards

Ricey
