[Lincs] Distro

Chris,

Sounds interesting and I feel you should take the lead on the Distro.  
If anyone still feels the need for a re-badged Ubuntu for the less 
experienced then I will try to avail.

My time at the min is a bit limited - another Deployment in April with 
no real net access :(
