Glad to see that so much debate has come forth. I thought that the Lincolnshire group was just about dead. <br><br>I must admit to a mistake in my previous post. I meant to recommend Ubuntu for GNOME, not Gentoo as I wrote but I made a mistake.
<br><br>I personally use Gentoo as I tend to break most conventional distros. <br><br>Just in the process of setting up two linux newbies with Ubuntu though and finding a few challenges.<br><br>Ed<br>
