The company embraces Open Source technologies, so you will be working on a
Linux platform and although you will primarily be using C/C++ you are likely to
have involvement in Perl, PHP, Python or Ruby based projects as well – after
all, it is about using the right tool for the job. You will also be using a
range of Open Source frameworks & toolkits and will be expected to keep
abreast of developments in these areas. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

mean that you'll be hacking away without regard for quality, documentation or maintainability
- you will be expected to write clean, efficient, well-documented code. If you

for you, but if you are looking for a role where you can push yourself and work

have a good academic background (2:1 or above in a relevant field such as
Computer Science) combined with a passion for Open Source software and proven commercial
software development experience. Your intelligence and the complexity of the
work you have done are of more importance than length of experience, but it is
likely that you will have worked on at least 2 major development projects. You'll
need good software design and coding skills, ideally in C/C++, and will probably
be running Linux at home. It’s likely (but not essential) that you will
also be active in the Open Source community or will play around with PHP, Perl,
Python, Ruby etc at home. Good mathematical skills or experience writing
algorithmically intensive software would be desirable and candidates who have
worked on distributed systems or have knowledge of network programming or
internet security would be of particular interest. However, if you don't have
