You will be reporting to our Senior/Junior Linux System
Administration. This position is responsible for installation,
configuration, maintenance and monitoring of all Linux systems.

<b>Requirements:</b><o:p></o:p>

</span></span>A degree-level (or equivalent) qualification in
Computing or Information Systems<span style="color:black">.</span><o:p></o:p>

</span></span>Experience managing over 30 servers preferably in
a web environment, including managing patches, monitoring,
provisioning, backups etc.<o:p></o:p>

</span></span>Good virtualisation and storage background;
knowledge of Xen or Citrix XenServer, RAID, iSCSI and SAN/NAS
solutions.<o:p></o:p>

New Roman"">
</span></span>Strong Apache and related web technologies skills
(load balancing, caching, DNS).<o:p></o:p>

</span></span>Strong security focus with some experience of
penetration testing, and awareness of common issues.<o:p></o:p>

</span></span>Excellent knowledge of networking, protocols
(TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, DHCP, HTTP, SMTP etc.) and firewalls.<o:p></o:p>

</span></span>2+/5+ years Linux experience (Debian and/or Red
Hat), with knowledge of other Unixes (FreeBSD, Solaris etc.).<o:p></o:p>

</span></span>Experience with SAN/NAS technology.<o:p></o:p>
<br>

</span></span>Good working knowledge of Windows (client and
server)<span style="color:black">.</span><o:p></o:p>

</span></span>RHCE or other professional certification.<o:p></o:p>

</span></span>Some clustering experience (Heartbeat, DRBD, CARP

</span></span>Strong scripting skills, with Ruby experience
highly desirable.<br>
