Hello!<div><br></div><div>I'm looking to hire someone with extensive open source community experience to join the community team at Basho London.</div><div><br></div><div>It's a varied role: organising and attending events, advocating Riak, some online marketing stuff, writing white papers, generally promoting Riak and Basho within the EMEA region.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Riak is an open source, distributed, highly available, key-value database. Most people deploy it on CentOS, RHEL or Ubuntu.</div><div><br></div><div>The ideal person knows the open source world inside-out, has experience as a developer or technical writer and can learn very quickly. Ideally you'll be able to commute to London but some home-working is fine too. There'll be plenty of travel: usually a couple of times a month within Europe and for two or three days at a time.</div>
