[Liverpool] IT Security Advice For LSC

Hi Folks,

Dave down at the LSC has been in touch to ask if anyone from LivLUG would
be willing to teach them about encryption and security. I suggested PGP
obviously and told him there are many good browser and mail client
extensions to make it simpler to use. I also recommended he look at Tor.
Another obvious one.

It's for the Mersey Anarchist group. They'd like to learn how to
communicate more securely. They're nice people and just a bit unsure where
to start with IT security. They have a meeting on the evening of Thursday
November 15th at LSC and want to know if anyone is willing to attend to
help.

Unfortunately I have an event that night but I may still be able to call in
for a very brief while. Anyone else interested in helping them out and
offering advice?

We can talk about it at the meeting tomorrow I just thought I'd post here
so I don't forget :)

Cheers,

Dan
