Yeah I'm thinking of doing the same. I went down on the Saturday morning last year but I don't fancy getting up that early again. There should be quite a few people around on the Friday night, so it's a good chance to catch up. Not sure of exact arrangements myself yet and who else will be going. Could be a big posse like last year, could be just me, we'll see.
Me and Jo will be going, probably stopping over in Wolverhampton on the friday/saturday night.
Subject: LugRadio Live 2009

Just in case there's any of you who a) don't watch twitter or identi.ca like
a hawk or b) don't know about the sheer pot of awsomeness that is LUGRADIO
LIVE, well, I bear GREAT news.

Yes, the wait is nearly [1] over and the countdown has begun. On the 24th
October 2009 in Wolverhampton, LugRadio Live will occur.

It's a little like a cross between an all-day rock concert and an IT
conference, with the crazyness of a barcamp thrown in for good measure, all
hosted by the LugRadio presenters, with (more than likely) a man in a racoon
outfit (don't ask until you've listened to some of the archives) and, very
possibly a guy in a thong bashing a gong.

Yes, it's pretty crazy, but really, if you have any interest in where Linux
is and where it's going to LugRadio Live 2009.

If you're on Twitter, check out twitter.com/lugradio or if you use identi.ca,
follow identi.ca/lugradio and join the group identi.ca/group/lrl2009

I hope to see you there!

[1] oh, and the word "nearly" is used in a subjective sense by the way!
