I am available on a 4-th of January. You will have to explain what is a
laptop clinic (the information cannot be found on university website)
and why is it going to take so long
to connect me to the network.
I am not allowed to use the SuperRoamNet and it my hw address is banned from RoamNet +
the ResNet requires the hw address registration too. This means the computer services are seriously
interfering with my studying process over the holiday period. For the module MUSI 324
my
research topic is "Promoting new talent using file-sharing methods and
specifically BitTorrent protocol". The MWS machines available
throughout the campus will not run any bittorrent
clients, as you know. This means I am not able to do my studies in full, because of the reason that
Computing Services are not following the standard procedure for connecting the Linux machine
to a network as described here: http://wireless.liv.ac.uk/linux.php

Looking forward to the answers to the questions raised here, in this email,

Sincerely yours,

Vladimir
