    <font face="sans-serif">With the HP open sourcing WebOS - does it

      mean we will finally end up having a true, community-driven open

      source OS for mobile phones and tablets?<br>

      I really hope so, as, from what I've seen on PreCentral and other

      websites, it seems far easier to hack about with then Android - so

      I think that is great news. Having a quick glance at the

      architecture, it also seems closer to a real Linux distro, in my

      oppinion, then Android. I just hope as many people as possible get

      behind it - and port it to as many phones and tablets.<br>

      On that other hand, maybe I am being a bit too enthusiastic - as

      I've been hoping for this for a good while.<br>

      Comments to dampen my spirits (if you must) are reluctantly

      welcome.<br>
