The fabulous finale of the Open CuRate It seminar series is in
sight. <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="http://www.opencurateit.org/events/who-owns-it/"
target="_blank">Who Owns It?</a>, a primer and talk fest on open
source culture and intellectual property law with some very
interesting presenters, will take place on the evening of Tuesday,
June 12th, 6-8.30pm. This event is co-presented with <a
moz-do-not-send="true"
href="http://www.ljmu.ac.uk/APS/OpenLabs/index.htm"
target="_blank">LJMU Open Labs</a>, <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="http://opensourcecity.org.uk/" target="_blank">Open Source
City</a>, and <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="http://www.how-why-diy.defnetmedia.com/" target="_blank">How?
Why? DIY</a>. Reservations can be made at <a

On June 18th and 19th we have an <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="http://www.opencurateit.org/events/augmented-reality-layar-workshop/"
target="_blank">Augmented Reality Layar </a>workshop with
Manifest.AR. In this workshop participants will learn how to create
simple location-based augmented reality artworks using the free
platform Layar (<a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="http://www.layar.com" target="_blank">www.layar.com</a>).<br>

And on the 23rd and 30th of June we are running, in collaboration
with <a moz-do-not-send="true" href="http://mercyonline.co.uk"
target="_blank">Mercy</a>, <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="http://www.opencurateit.org/events/syntax-coding-for-writers-or-textualists-of-any-description/"
target="_blank">Syntax: Coding for Writers</a> (or textualists of
any description). There are a couple of places still available in
this small and intensive workshop so visit the link for more
