That would of course assume that I believe the modernist dream that
'the future' is always a better place than 'now'.<br>

If the 'problem' is the distinction between selves and socials, then
perhaps even Widnes can't solve it. It is this tension which propels
as well as constrains creation and leads to new forms of interaction
and communication...<br>
