for it, but can at least confirm that it's not isolated to your
laptop, so I doubt the SSD stuff is an issue :-) It happens on my
Ubuntu Sony VAIO, and also on the Ubuntu Samsung netbook here in
DoES.<br>

It is sometimes possible to fix by opening "Printing" and enabling
the printer - it seems to fail and then set the printer to a "not
in use" state, although it'll happily queue stuff up for it.<br>
<br>
If the enabling it trick doesn't work, rebooting your machine
usually will, but that's far from optimal solution. I've not even
done as much digging into it as you have, but would love to get a
fix, as it's generally 50/50 whether or not printing something
will work for me :-(<br>
