So far only 7 people have confirmed they're coming to the December
LUG meal. I had said I'd book it this weekend but that was before

restaurant also has this December deposit scheme. Even Bella

The Shipping Forecast does decent food: burgers, chicken, fish and
veggie options. It's diner style stuff in baskets but very nice. I
can ask them to save us a table without having to pay, or we can
just turn up and grab a spot. It's not usually that busy on a
Wednesday night.<br>

We know the place and it also solves the issue of finding a pub
after the meal. It doesn't matter so much how many people turn up,
there'll always be room. You can choose to eat or not, order when
you want and it'll all be a lot more flexible.<br>

So I propose we just meet at Shipping Forecast 7pm on the first
Weds in December.<br>

Anyone have strong objections to that plan? If not I say we
confirm it next week.<br>
