Hi Chris (and the List).

In my efforts to install the D-link drivers for my network cards, on
both Debian machines, I ended
up having to re-install !

I now have both machines working with the "install version" of Woody,
and have un-tarred the driver
files from the NIC-CDROM.
I now need to compile rhine.o (from dlkfet-4.24) and install it in the
kernel.
I have not succeeded so far, but my hands are getting dirtier !

The first goal is to get both machines up-dated with the latest files
and security patches.
Then it's back to the CUPS problem. I particularly want to use postscript.

Regards to the Group. See some of you soon.

Geoff

P.S. Had a minor encounter with the medical profession on Tuesday.
Don't ever believe that "keyhole surgery" involves keyholes !
