Dudes

Offsite meeting tomorrow, might be a bit late but I should be there.

Thunderbird. Nice interface. I miss the 'reply to list' option present
in Evolution. Getting spell check working took some effort but it's easy
now I know how.
Spam filtering is non-configurable (apart from on or off) and isn't
working as well as I'd like. (Why do spammers think I'll buy that pill,
you know the one, just because they spell everything wrong except for
the particular passage from the hobbit they choose to include with the
spam.)

Moved from evolution a while ago because the integrated spamassassin
wasn't doing a great job. Might swap back and use spamassassin as an
external filter so I can get more control over it, i.e. make use of
Evo's 'pipe message into shell function' feature. I used to run it this
way before Fedora integrated the two and made it harder to configure,
train on ham/spam etc. Or it might be that quoting from the hobbit is
going to get through anyway. Hard to know unless I try.

No I don't and yes I do, respectively. Not that a firewall is
necessarily relevant in this situation.

Unless you count a spam filter as a form of data firewall?

Well.... do you?

Rick
