[Malvern] Function Keys

Guys

Does anyone know how to capture function key presses?

As I can't get them to produce an ASCII or Unicode value I am guessing that
they need to be predefined with code? Am I right or going in totally the
wrong direction?

(Sorry this relates to MS but I am guessing that it is the same across OS's)

In particular I want to set up key f2 as keyboard shortcut to toggle "edit
mode" on and off.
