Hi Colin,
Thanks for the steer - I been and looked it up.
It appears to come from SuSE/Novell.
Strange in a way - SuSE were always leaning towards KDE., but
guess the Novell tale-over altered that.

Recently I saw XGL running on Ubuntu - a Debian clone.
I suppose if I wait long enough it will come up some day on Debian.

However, even if the eye-candy is looking good,  I'm not sure it will help
me to write better code !
