Hi Guys

Bit of advice please. Going to upgrade my Gnome Orca to current stable
version and have read up on the notes but a little confused. First steps
advises to do the following:

sudo apt-get remove gnome-orca
sudo apt-get build-dep gnome-orca
sudo apt-get install subversion gnome-common

I have no problems with this and understand what each does, however, further
on it makes reference to the folowing commands:

/ configure -preffix=/usr
make
make install

But it doesn't make clear whether this is needed for all installations or
just upgrading to the SVN branch.

The reference page is:

http://live.gnome.org/Orca/DownloadInstall

Cheers

Ian
