[Malvern] USB Network Cables

Has anyone used, successfully, USB Network Cables to link two computers
together?  Something akin to the old Laplink setup.

I've found plenty of M$ apps to be used with these cables, but have not
found anything on Google to say that Linux supports these, or how to set
them up if it does.

Just thought that this approach would be a tad easier than trying to use
wireless to wireless between laptops especially if one or other doesn't have
an ethernet port.
