Yep, and don't be tempted to remove the stick before unmounting it - nasty
things *could* happen to any recently saved files that hadn't actually got
onto the stick before you pull it - journalling don't ya all know!

I dunno about Nautilus, not used it but I've used Dolphin which is KDE's
file manager.  If you start that (pick it from a menu or hit Alt-F2 and type
Dolphin then return) and plug your usb stick in, you'll see it appear in the
column on the left.  Clicking on that icon will open it.  If you right click
on the icon later, you'll be able to safely remove it i.e. unmount it in
unix terms.
