[Malvern] PDF files.

Hi Geoff,

Mostly I save out as .doc - nearly everybody can read this.

Libre Office is pretty good with .doc output. I haven't had any real
problems with it for many years now, though it occasionally messes with
bullet styles and such (but then, so does the current Microsoft Office).

Abiword's .doc compatibility used to be a bit wobbly, I don't know if
it's any better these days.

Having said that, I am surprised to hear that your M$ friends cannot
read your PDFs. Might this be because you are not embedding your (Linux)
fonts for them, or something like that? 
Or, if they can't read their own old PDFs from way back when, then maybe
they just need to get their own house in order.
